# TI-STARTER — UPDATES
Newest first. Each entry ends with the one line to paste to your assistant.
## 2026-08-06 — The connector card: teach your assistant the sign-in dance
The Microsoft sign-in behind your email connection lapses now and then (always
after a password change), and the original pack never told your assistant what
to do about it — so it guesses, badly. This one-paste update writes the missing
card into your assistant's standing instructions: connector tools only, never
raw Graph, and the exact two-minute re-sign-in ladder. Built for the model
you're actually on — it needs no judgement, just follows the steps. Download
`UPDATE-2026-08-06-connector-card.md` from this site and paste the block inside
it to your assistant.
## 2026-08-06 — When it stops working: the fix ladder
A new page for the day it won't log in or starts acting strange:
https://assist.stationarystore.ie/examples/fix-my-assistant . Five checks in
order — the expired Claude login (and the work-machine browser dance that
catches everyone), the Microsoft mailbox sign-in lapsing, the model check
(Opus is Max-only now; on Pro you're on Sonnet, so pull the 2026-07-16
doctoring v2 update below if you haven't), reinstalling the email connector,
and how to reach Andre when the assistant itself is dead. Bookmark it.
If your assistant still talks, paste:
`Read https://assist.stationarystore.ie/examples/fix-my-assistant and walk me through the fix ladder for what's happening on my machine.`
## 2026-07-16 — Inbox doctoring v2: rounds, a gate, and cheaper runs
The doctoring sitting got a proper rebuild: it serves your inbox **one project
at a time** in small rounds you steer by number, nothing acts before you say so
(deletes get their own separate yes), it re-checks your sent items after every
round so it never double-works what you handled yourself, and it farms the
mechanical legwork out to cheaper models — same quality, lighter on your usage.
Download `UPDATE-2026-07-16-doctoring-v2.md` from this site and paste the block
inside it to your assistant.
## 2026-06-23 — A batch of upgrades (take or leave each)
A calendar review folded into your inbox doctor, a smarter clear-out, an optional
status-line tool that shows your model / effort / time-to-token-reset, and a
rebuilt site with worked examples + a flow diagram of what the doctor does.
Download `UPDATE-2026-06-23-rollout.md` from this site and paste the block to your
assistant — it'll walk you through each piece and add the ones you want. Nothing
forced; say no to any of it.
## 2026-06-18 — New look + worked examples
The site got a rebuild: a clear split between what works **out of the box** and
the optional **add-ons**, plus a set of worked examples showing real jobs with
the exact prompt to paste (meeting cheat sheet, inbox doctoring, monthly
expenses, Smartsheet status reconcile, web portals, Obsidian). Have a look:
https://assist.stationarystore.ie/examples . Nothing to paste for this one, it's
just the site, go see what's worth asking for.
## 2026-06-17 — Inbox doctoring: don't over-file, show a proper overview
Your assistant's inbox-doctoring sitting got two fixes: it no longer treats
"filed" as "closed" — it surfaces info you still need and keeps live actions
live — and for a big clear-out it now hands you one numbered overview to steer
from instead of walking you through emails one at a time. Download
`UPDATE-2026-06-17-doctoring.md` from this site and paste the block inside it to
your assistant.
## 2026-06-16 — Run on Opus + a desktop launcher
Two fixes: (1) your assistant should run on the **Opus** model, not Sonnet —
on Sonnet it ignores the email connector and gives wrong steps; (2) a
double-click **Talk to my assistant** launcher goes on your desktop so you
never hunt for a terminal. Also new: a plain **Getting Claude Code** install
page (Windows and Mac) at <https://assist.stationarystore.ie/install>.
Download `UPDATE-2026-06-16-opus-and-launcher.md` from this site and paste the
block inside it to your assistant.
## 2026-06-12 — Catch-up update (one pull = current)
If your assistant came from the zip Andrew first emailed, the pack has moved
on since (Smartsheet fix, connector v1.1, "catch me up", notion escalation).
Download `UPDATE-2026-06-12-catch-up.md` from this site and paste the block
inside it — one pull brings you fully current. Going forward, every change
arrives here as an update you pull, never pushed to your machine.
## 2026-06-12 — Problem reporting goes live (this site)
Your assistant can now report problems straight to Andre. Download
`UPDATE-2026-06-12-reporting.md` from this site and paste the line inside it
to your assistant. You will need your personal key from Andre first.
## 2026-06-11 — Connector v1.1: reply drafts + folder creation (commit eede45b)
The email connector gained `create_reply_draft` (in-thread reply drafts that
preserve the conversation history — drafts only, never sends) and
`create_mail_folder`. If your assistant says it cannot create drafts or
folders, you are on the old pin. Paste to your assistant:
> Andre updated the email connector. Run `claude mcp remove microsoft`, then
> re-add it with the exact same command and IDs as before but with the commit
> changed to `eede45b9543f9ffea78ae0ae6dc92f7c87d9a919` (read the current
> registration from config before removing). Then I restart with
> `claude --continue`.
## 2026-06-11 — Connector v1.0.1: device sign-in fix (commit 4777c58)
Fixed sign-in dying with "Output validation error: 900 is not of type
'string'". Superseded by v1.1 above — use that commit instead.
## 2026-06-11 — Pack v1 shipped
First two installs in the wild. Pinned connector commit at ship time:
`e267151b` (upstream) — superseded same day by the fork above.
